The main purpose of the Scholarship is to support international students to enrol into a specified postgraduate programme at the Faculty of Education and Social Work and successfully establish themselves in Auckland.
The University of Auckland is the largest university in New Zealand, located in the country’s largest city, Auckland. It is the highest-ranked university in the country, being ranked 81st worldwide in the 2016/17 QS World University Rankings.
Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing postgraduate programme.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded at the Faculty of Education and Social Work.
Scholarship Award: Each will be of the value of up to $3,500 for the first 120 points of the programme, or up to the value of $1,750 for the first 60 points of the programme if commencing in Semester Two.
Number of Scholarships: An unlimited number of scholarships will be awarded.
Scholarship can be taken in New Zealand
- The Scholarships will be awarded to new international students applying for admission to a specified postgraduate programme in 2017 at the University of Auckland Faculty of Education and Social Work (See Note i). Students who have commenced study in a postgraduate programme are not eligible for consideration for these scholarships.
- To take up and be paid the Scholarships the candidate must be enrolled and have paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees, for full-time enrolment in a specified postgraduate programme of at least 120 points if commencing enrolment in Semester One 2017 or at least 60 points if commencing enrolment in Semester Two 2017 in the Faculty of Education and Social Work.
Nationality: Scholarships will be awarded to new international students.
